Having previously worked as a secondary school science teacher I retrained as an arboriculturist in 2007. Additionally, in 2016 I gained my PG Cert Arb with Merit form Myerscough College.
Whilst I no longer do practical tree work, over 10 years of experience working with trees is invaluable when assessing trees and their condition for tree surveys, making decisions on their suitability for retention, future viability and safety.
I pride myself on producing reports which are written to present information in a clear and understandable manner helping clients get approval for their planning applications whilst creating a working document for contractors and future management.
I have never been able to bring myself to give up teaching and still teach horticulture at local secondary school one day a week!
